What will you do?
The main focus of the role is to ensure all post completion duties are carried out in a timely

- Complete Land Registry applications and completion of registrations.
- Complete Land Registry requisitions.

The Role
The main purpose of the role is to support Solicitors in the Claimant Medical Negligence Department by assisting with the preparation and management of claims, ensuring cases progress efficiently and effectively.
The role involves legal research, document drafting, liaising with clients and experts, and handling administrative tasks to support exceptional high-quality client service and successful case outcomes.
What will you do?
- Assist the lawyer with conduct of the file in the day to day running of their cases from inception to settlement or trial.
- Conduct legal research on case law, legislation, and medical issues relevant to claims.
- Draft legal documents, including letters of claim, witness statements, and instructions to experts and counsel.
- Assist in reviewing and analysing medical records, reports and expert opinions.
- Prepare case bundles for court proceedings, hearings and settlement meetings.
- Liaise with medical experts, counsel, and other third parties to obtain necessary evidence and reports.
- Act as point of contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring exceptional legal service is provided.

The Court of Protection has appointed Samantha Buckthought as Property and Affairs Deputy for a large number of clients. Our team support these clients to manage their financial affairs.
The main purpose of the role is to provide specialist legal advice and representation in matters relating to the Court of Protection, including property and financial affairs, deputyship applications, and best interests’ decisions.
The role involves advising clients on Mental Capacity Act 2005 matters, managing deputyship cases, and ensuring vulnerable individuals receive appropriate legal support and protection, aligned with the firm’s vision of delivering an exceptional legal experience.
Establishing a relationship of trust and respect with clients, families, support networks and experts.
- Manage a caseload of Court of Protection matters, including court applications and financial affairs management.
- Represent clients in Court of Protection proceedings.
- Provide advice to individuals, families, local authorities, charities, and professional deputies regarding mental capacity and best interest decisions.
- Liaise with barristers, medical experts, social workers, and financial professionals to support client cases.

What will you do?
The main purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to a team of lawyers.

- Type from digital dictation to prepare, format and proof-read legal documents, correspondence and reports.
- Complete assigned administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the department.
- Password protect sensitive documents to ensure confidentiality.
- Convert documents to PDF format for secure sharing.
- Edit and update documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Prepare Trust ledgers.
- Manage your own workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Maintain compliant and accurate electronic files.
