Aaron joined Wolferstans in May 2023 and is our Compliance Manager, working within the Management Department. Aaron’s role is to ensure that the firm complies with its outside regulatory requirements and internal policies. Aaron has a particular interest and good working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering legislation and will be working closely alongside Paul Bramall (MLRO) and Clare Magill (Deputy MLRO).
Aaron started his career working as a Fee Earner within the Dispute Resolution Team of a Norwich based law firm whilst studying for the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of East Anglia, before moving into several different compliance roles. This included working for the Property Ombudsman Scheme, where Aaron progressed to the position of Senior Adjudicator and was responsible for deciding the outcome of complex disputes between consumers and member agents against Government approved Codes of Practice. Aaron then moved to Savills in January 2020, primarily supporting the customer service and compliance functions within the lettings division. Most recently, Aaron had been working for a firm of chartered Surveyors based across London and the South Coast as a Risk and Compliance Officer covering Anti-Money Laundering, Data Protection, Professional Membership Obligations and Claims and Complaints handling.
In his spare time, Aaron enjoys playing tennis and exploring the Dorset coastline where he lives with his wife (and dog!) alongside spending time with family and friends.
