Abbie is a chartered legal executive and associate in our court of protection team, specialising in managing the finances and affairs of clients who lack capacity. She supports vulnerable individuals and their families with a calm, collaborative and person‑centred approach, ensuring that all decisions are made in the best interests of those she represents.
Abbie graduated with a 2:1 in Law from the University of Birmingham in 2010. Before qualifying, she gained twelve years of experience as a paralegal, initially working in personal injury before moving into a litigation role at a transatlantic firm, where she later qualified as a chartered legal executive in 2022. In 2024, driven by her commitment to helping vulnerable clients, Abbie joined Wolferstans as an associate within our specialist court of protection team.
She draws on her background in legal disputes and litigation to bring strong problem‑solving skills and a supportive, practical approach to her work. Abbie regularly assists clients and their families with complex and sensitive matters involving financial management, welfare considerations and navigating the responsibilities that arise when an individual lacks capacity.
Outside of work, Abbie enjoys spending quality time with her young family, reading and exploring coastal walks.
