Abigail is a solicitor in our court of protection department, specialising in Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Probate Administration for vulnerable clients. She supports individuals and their families through some of the most difficult periods in their lives, providing clear, tailored advice with empathy and professionalism.
Abigail studied at the University of Plymouth, achieving a First Class Honours Law LLB before completing her Legal Practice Course and Master’s in Professional Legal Practice with Distinction. She joined Wolferstans in 2022 and trained within our wills & trusts, court of protection and contentious probate teams, gaining wide-ranging experience across private client matters. She qualified as a solicitor in the court of protection department in September 2024.
Abigail’s work includes managing the wills, trusts and probate administration needs of vulnerable clients, particularly in situations where individuals have passed away and careful estate administration is required. She regularly liaises with genealogists to confirm beneficiaries and assists with estates that vary significantly in complexity, size and nature. Abigail also advises on Trust Registration (TRS) and Personal Injury Trusts, providing practical and accessible guidance to help clients understand and protect their financial position. She has produced informative factsheets to simplify these areas for clients.

Outside of work, Abigail enjoys exploring Plymouth’s beaches and spending time with her family, including her dog.
