Amy began her legal career in 2009 as an Office Assistant before progressing to Legal Secretary roles across a variety of practice areas, including Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury, Private Client, Family, and Corporate law.
Since September 2018, Amy has specialised in Court of Protection work, initially as a Paralegal and later as a Court of Protection Executive. She joined Wolferstans in July 2026 as a Legal Assistant, where she supports the day-to-day management of Deputyship matters.
Over the years, Amy has gained extensive experience assisting with a wide range of Court of Protection cases and has developed strong working relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals. What she enjoys most about her role is getting to know the people she supports and helping to make what can often be a complex or challenging situation a little easier for them.
No two days are ever the same, which is one of the many reasons she finds Court of Protection work so rewarding. She takes great pride in providing a caring, practical and personable service, helping clients and their families navigate matters with confidence and reassurance.
Amy is currently working towards accreditation with The Professional Deputies Forum as part of her continued professional development.
Her broad legal background has given her a strong foundation and a practical understanding of delivering client-focused legal services, enabling her to provide effective and compassionate support tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Outside of work, Amy loves spending time with her family and friends, walking her dog, baking and keeping fit. She also enjoys reading, particularly crime fiction and psychological thrillers.
