She began her career as a barrister in 2007, working across several government regulatory departments, where she gained significant experience in complex mental capacity and social care matters. Emma later cross‑qualified as a solicitor and has since built a strong reputation as a leading practitioner in Court of Protection work.

Emma is recognised nationally for her expertise. She was first ranked in Chambers and Partners in 2012 as a “star associate” for Court of Protection (UK‑wide).
