Freya is a paralegal in the medical negligence claims department at Wolferstans. In her role, she supports a range of legal professionals with the preparation and progression of medical negligence claims.
Freya joined the team in July 2025, after graduating from the University of Plymouth with a First-Class Honours degree in Law. In her final year at university, Freya completed her Work-Based Learning placement within the medical negligence department at Wolferstans. Here, she developed a strong interest in medical negligence claims and their potential to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
Freya was an active member of the University of Plymouth Law Society (UPLS) and served as Mooting Officer on the committee in her final year. In this role, she judged the competitions, providing feedback to the participants and helping them to develop their advocacy skills – experience which further strengthened her interest in litigation and client representation.
Freya is currently building her experience in this complex area of law, assisting with tasks such as reviewing medical records and drafting legal documentation. She is committed to developing her skills within the team and contributing to the pursuit of justice for her clients.
Outside of work, Freya enjoys running, pilates, and spending time with her friends.
