Holly is a Partner, Chartered Legal Executive Litigator, and Head of our Injury Litigation department. She specialises in complex, high value brain injury claims, however, she also acts on a diverse range of complex clinical negligence cases, which require specialist input.

Holly is accredited by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) as a Senior Litigator, Brain Injury and Clinical Negligence Specialist. She is also a member of the specialist Clinical Negligence Panel of the Law Society.

Holly has worked in the field of medical negligence for over eleven years. During that time, she has had the pleasure of assisting many families at a time where they are often very vulnerable and needing expert support and guidance. Her priority is making sure that people feel heard and understood. She supports them throughout the claims process, which is often involved and challenging.

Holly is ranked in the Chambers and Partners Guide to the Legal Profession as “Up and Coming”. She also appears in the Legal 500 rankings as a “key lawyer”.

Holly is also a Director and Trustee of Friends and Families, in Plymouth. This is a local charity committed to providing exciting experiences for profoundly disabled children, which they otherwise might not be able to access. They support and empower families of children living with a disability whether it be visible or not, offering advice on services in the local area.

  • Settled a case for £2.1 million pounds plus £192,500 per annum for a child with cerebral palsy resulting from negligent treatment
  • Settled a case for £1,250,000 for an adult, for a failure to act on the results of an MRI scan which showed hydrocephalus
  • Settled a case for £350,000 for endocarditis caused by negligent dental treatment
  • Settled a case for £400,000 for a child who became blind in one eye as a result of a delay in diagnosing and treating retinopathy of prematurity
  • Settled a case for £60,000 for PTSD experienced by a mother as a result of negligence during the delivery of her child
  • Settled a case for £40,000 following the negligent prescription of a GP which resulted in an admission to ICU for treatment
  • Settled a case for £20,000 for negligent treatment of an ectopic pregnancy
