Ikra is a solicitor in the medical negligence claims department. She acts exclusively for claimants and works closely with Partner Elizabeth Smith on a wide range of complex and high-value medical negligence cases.
Ikra specialises in catastrophic injury claims, including brain injury claims, spinal injury claims, oncology claims and wrongful birth claims. She has assisted in the investigation and successful resolution of claims valued in the millions, supporting clients and their families through some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
Ikra is dedicated to ensuring clients feel heard and supported throughout the legal process. Her approach is grounded in empathy and professionalism, with a strong focus on providing an outstanding client experience.
Ikra originally joined the medical negligence claims team during her undergraduate studies through the firm’s MedLaw project and went on to complete her postgraduate qualification and Master’s degree in 2021. As of 2025, Ikra is also a Communications Officer for the Devon & Somerset Junior Legal Community, a non-profit organisation.
Outside of law, Ikra enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, and exploring her passion for cars.
