Ikra is a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team at Wolferstans, acting exclusively for claimants who have suffered injury as a result of negligent medical treatment. She is committed to helping individuals and their families secure answers, accountability, and compensation following avoidable harm.
Ikra has experience investigating and pursuing a broad range of medical negligence claims, with a particular focus on catastrophic injury cases involving adults and children, including brain and spinal injury claims. She also acts in complex oncology, wrongful birth, surgical negligence, and delay in diagnosis and treatment cases.
Having assisted in the successful resolution of high-value claims, including cases valued in the millions of pounds, Ikra understands the profound impact that medical negligence can have on every aspect of a person’s life. She works closely with clients throughout the claims process, combining technical expertise with a compassionate and approachable manner to ensure they feel supported and informed at every stage.
Ikra’s connection with Wolferstans began during her undergraduate studies through the firm’s MedLaw project. She subsequently completed her postgraduate legal studies and Master’s degree before qualifying as a solicitor and joining the firm’s Medical Negligence team.
Alongside her legal practice, Ikra is Vice Chair of the Devon & Somerset Junior Lawyers Division, where she supports initiatives aimed at developing and representing early-career legal professionals across the region.
Outside of work, Ikra enjoys keeping active in the gym, spending time with family and friends, and exploring her passion for cars.
