James joined Wolferstans in November 2022 and is our Compliance Assistant within the Management Department. In his role, James supports Wolferstans in meeting its external regulatory obligations and maintaining high standards in line with internal policies. James has a particular interest in Anti-Money Laundering legislation and works closely with Aaron Barlow (MLRO) and Paul Bramall (MLCO).
James began his legal career as a Commercial Legal Assistant at a local Plymouth law firm before moving on to a Planning Paralegal role with an international firm, where he was involved in a range of national projects. Since joining Wolferstans, he has gained valuable experience across both our Commercial Property and Court of Protection Departments, developing a broad skill set and a strong understanding of complex legal matters.
Outside of work, James enjoys playing football, running, and going on adventure walks with his wife. He is also a keen motorsport enthusiast and rarely misses a race weekend, especially during F1 as a keen Mclaren fan.
