Jenny is a Solicitor in the Contentious Probate and Trusts team within the Wills and Trusts department. She joined Wolferstans in May 2025.
She obtained a First-Class Honours degree in German with French from the University of Exeter in 2012. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Law with the University of Law in 2021 and subsequently passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exam to qualify as a Solicitor in 2023.
Whilst studying for her legal qualifications, Jenny worked in the Personal Disputes team of a large Cornish firm, gaining experience of a broad range of civil litigation matters, which included contentious trusts and probate work.
Jenny advises and represents clients on a broad range of contentious probate matters, which include will validity disputes, Inheritance Act claims, and inter-Executor/Trustee disputes. Whilst an early resolution of matters is desirable, Jenny has experience in progressing matters to trial where this becomes necessary.
She prides herself on building strong professional relationships with her clients, understanding the significant impact that inheritance disputes can have on individuals’ lives. She approaches matters in a human and client-friendly manner, whilst also seeking to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.
In her spare time, Jenny enjoys Cornish Pilot Gig rowing and regularly competes at regattas and the annual World Pilot Gig Championships. Jenny also enjoys paddle boarding, going to the gym and long coast path hikes.
