Josh is a solicitor, partner and head of the corporate and commercial team at Wolferstans. He obtained a First Class Honours law degree from the University of Plymouth in 2017 and qualified as a Solicitor in November 2019.

Josh specialises in corporate and commercial law and leads the firm’s Corporate team on a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and incorporation, shareholders’ agreements, intellectual property, partnership agreements, joint ventures, commercial leases and general commercial property matters.

Josh has acted on a number of significant and high‑value transactions, including leading on the sale of Rowes Garage Ltd, a business with an annual turnover of approximately £30 million, to Vertu Motors plc. He also advised on the corporate aspects of the acquisition of the Harpers Football Centre by Plymouth Argyle Football Club.

Further notable matters include advising on a corporate restructuring and demerger for a large residential property developer with a complex group ownership structure, and acting on a series of acquisitions and disposals of hotels and other hospitality sites for a high‑end property developer client in Dorset, with an aggregated transaction value in excess of £15 million.

Alongside his work as a Solicitor, Josh has lectured at the University of Plymouth since 2018 as a module leader, teaching Building and Property Law to students training to become construction managers, architects and surveyors.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys trying to keep active, dreaming of classic cars and listening to Heart 00s on the radio.
