Melanie joined Wolferstans in August 2022 as a Senior Associate in the Disputes and Litigation team. She has built a strong reputation over the last 15 years as a specialist Parks lawyer, advising owners of residential and holiday parks businesses, both locally and nationally. Melanie’s area of specialism covers a wide range of issues, including pitch fee disputes, applications to the Residential Property Tribunal concerning breaches of the Mobile Homes Act 1983, park rules, breach of contract claims, and consumer rights issues.
Melanie qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2013 following a career change. Her previous experience in business management and customer service has enabled her to acquire an insight into the challenges faced by businesses providing goods and services to consumers. Melanie uses that experience, combined with her legal knowledge, to provide straightforward, practical legal advice to clients, as well as exceptional service. Melanie is focused on exploring all avenues of alternative dispute resolution with clients to achieve the most expedient and advantageous resolution.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her daughters, who both play football.
