Senior Associate, Chartered Legal Executive

Department: Court of Protection

Location: Plymouth

Rebecca graduated from Plymouth University in 2015 and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2022. Rebecca became an Associate at the firm in 2023.

Rebecca spent the initial stages of her career in the family team, advising parents in care proceedings. Rebecca was often instructed by parents with learning difficulties and disabilities and she developed strong connections with charities in Plymouth and the South West that provided support to parents at an extremely troubling time.

Rebecca subsequently joined the Court of Protection Team, where she handles a case load managing the finances and affairs of clients who lack capacity. Many of these clients have an acquired brain injury. Rebecca advises a panel deputy regarding high value litigation matters and many clients have substantial assets as a result of a medical negligence claim.

Rebecca is a trained Mental Health First Aider and is passionate about the health and wellbeing of her colleagues and clients.

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys working out at the gym or volunteering as a dog walker in her local community.
