Rebecca Brookes is a Senior Associate in the Family Care Team. She completed her LLB in Law at the University of Plymouth, went on to study the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), and later qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Rebecca has gained experience both at a large commercial law firm and working within Local Authority, giving her a broad and practical understanding of the issues faced by families.
Rebecca supports parents and grandparents involved with children’s social care, providing clear, structured guidance throughout pre-proceedings (PLO) and Care Proceedings. She works closely with colleagues to prepare cases, ensuring every matter is handled with thoughtfulness.
Known for her measured and calm approach, Rebecca understands how sensitive these situations can be. She recognises the importance of clients feeling supported during such a challenging time and is committed to ensuring they feel informed and reassured throughout the process.
