The Solicitors Regulation Authority has confirmed that PM Law has ceased trading with immediate effect.
The PM Law group included the following firms:
- Proddow Mackay
- 3M Law Solicitors
- Autonet Law
- Butterworths Solicitors
- Linkfield Claims Service
- PM Law solicitors
Sadly, this sudden closure has left many of their personal injury and clinical negligence clients with little to no detail about what will happen next. The SRA has confirmed that it will take some time for all of their matters to be reviewed.
What can I do if I have a claim with PM Law?
You do not have to wait for the SRA to reassign your claim. You may instruct another solicitor of your own choice to handle your claim and obtain your file from PM Law.
Instructing another firm will minimise any delays in your claim and ensure that your claim is pursed within the requisite time period which is often 3 years.
