These appointments reflect the firm’s ongoing investment in its people and its focus on strengthening leadership to support future growth.

Experienced Leaders Driving Growth

Each of the newly appointed Heads of Department brings extensive expertise and a strong track record of delivering excellent client outcomes, alongside a clear vision for developing their teams and services.
Deborah Black, Head of Commercial Property, said:

“I am delighted to be appointed as the Head of the Commercial Property team at Wolferstans, a significant milestone in my legal career. I am proud to work with a growing team of experienced property lawyers who excel at providing practical solutions drawing on their extensive knowledge of the local market. It is an exciting time to step into this role as new technology enables us to focus on what we do best; building personal relationships with our valued clients and understanding their businesses so we can help them to achieve their goals.”

Lydia Wilkinson, Head of the Family Department, added:

“I am incredibly proud to be stepping into the role of Head of the Family Department. It is a landmark that means a great deal to me personally. I have the privilege of leading a strong, varied team of experienced family lawyers who guide clients through a difficult time in their lives with both skill and empathy. The team’s collaboration, commitment to each client and expertise drives the quality of work we deliver every day. I’m excited to build on our strengths and position as experts in divorce, separation and related matters —whilst thoughtfully growing our existing specialisms in professional and armed forces pensions, cohabitee separations and nuptial agreements.”

Holly Bowditch, Head of Medical Negligence & Personal Injury, said:

“The work we do in the injury litigation team relies on care and consistency and people working closely together to provide the best outcomes for our clients. I’m lucky to be part of a team that supports one another and helps clients through some very difficult moments. I’m looking forward to continuing to strengthen that way of working and providing a service that people locally feel able to turn to when they need support.”
