What will you do?
We have a senior vacancy for a Solicitor or qualified Legal Executive to join our leading and well-established Disputes & Litigation Department – Contentious Probate role.
The successful candidate will possess significant experience of handling a varied contentious probate caseload with the confidence to work independently.
The role can be undertaken through a combination of homeworking and time at our North Hill office in Plymouth. We are willing to consider varied and flexible arrangements which can be agreed based on your needs.
Salary will be dependent upon experience and calibre of the candidate, but we are willing to consider any candidates with a minimum of five years’ experience.
What do you offer?
Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
Relevant experience of the sole management of a varied contentious probate caseload including but not limited to claims regarding will validity, Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, proprietary estoppel, will rectification, trust disputes, as well as trustee removal claims and alternative dispute resolution.
- Consistent and proven lawyer with advocacy experience.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other business sources.
- Ability to work well under pressure within stipulated timescales and meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise effectively.
