What will you do?

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded and well established team. The purpose of this role is to provide paralegal and administrative support to our experienced, professional and friendly Family Care Team, demonstrating commitment to the firm and its objective to provide exceptional legal experiences to our clients.

Main Purpose of the role:

  • Working in a fast paced environment providing assistance to a team of lawyers with their busy caseloads.
  • Managing your own workload and prioritising tasks.
  • Attendance at Court hearings, sitting behind Counsel and providing essential support to vulnerable clients.
  • Attendance at client meetings, taking accurate and comprehensive notes.
  • Dealing with client queries and correspondence, progressing matters and ensuring excellent standards of service to clients is met at all times.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and other professional both over the phone and by email.
  • Reviewing and collating documents.
  • Conducting legal research.
  • Drafting a variety of court documents.
  • Dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information.

You will be based at our offices on North Hill with potential to work from home part of the week subject to training and business need.

What do you offer?

The role is open to those that either have or are working towards a legal qualification i.e. law degree, CILEx or have previous experience of working in a similar role with administrative experience.
