Renewed accreditations for Wolferstans Lawyer
James Walsh, Partner and Head of the Asbestos Litigation Team at Wolferstans has successfully renewed his accreditation to both the Law Society Personal Injury Panel and as a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
Law Society personal injury accreditation is the quality mark for lawyers working in personal injury. The Law Society comments, “All Law Society Personal Injury Panel members go through rigorous examination and testing to demonstrate that they have a high level of knowledge, skills and experience in dealing with personal injury cases. Accreditation schemes are also intended to help consumers identify solicitors and solicitors' employees who are competent and experienced in key areas of legal practice. Only practitioners who meet exacting requirements are permitted to join the accreditation schemes”.
James’ specialist area is mesothelioma and asbestos litigation where he is nationally regarded as a specialist.
APIL states, “APIL Fellowship is only open to APIL Senior Litigators who have a high level of technical expertise in personal injury law, including trial procedures, who are recognised by their peers as being in a position of professional and intellectual leadership in the field of personal injury law, and who are competent in the management of a personal injury department.”.
Fellowship is a distinguished award and there are currently only 159 Accredited Fellows in England. James is also a Member of APIL’s Occupational Health Special Interest Group.
James comments “I am delighted to have renewed my professional accreditations which recognise my expertise and my commitment to my clients. Mesothelioma and asbestos litigation are a very specialised area of personal injury work and my clients can be reassured that I will achieve the best possible outcome for them.”
