This week, our team took a significant step in raising awareness about predatory marriage, a growing issue here in the South West. We were joined by a video crew at The BLOCK in Royal William Yard to film an important piece on this troubling subject.

We were honoured to welcome Daphne Franks, who has first hand experience with the devastating consequences of predatory marriage. Daphne has been a strong advocate for change, sharing her story to help prevent other families from going through the same heartache.

Members of our Contentious Probate, Private Client, and Family team(s) also took part in filming, offering their insights on how we can support families and friends affected by predatory marriage. Their short videos provide guidance on recognising the warning signs and the legal steps available to protect vulnerable loved ones, because when it comes to predatory marriage, prevention is key.
