The Ministry of Justice have announced that Legal Aid is to be extended for Mediation

The Ministry of Justice have announced that Legal Aid is to be extended so that where one party to a mediation is financially eligible for Legal Aid both parties can do the mediation with no charge. At the moment the party who is not financially eligible has to pay his/her share of the costs. This is likely to make more people willing to undertake mediation although some would say it doesn’t go far enough.Wolferstans offers a mediation service and can undertake mediations for clients who are legally aided and privately paying. We offer fixed fees for those who have to pay.
