Having a military background, Corrin has brought transferrable analytical and organisational skills to the Court of Protection Team, where she has worked as a Legal Assistant since April 2017. Corrin manages the property and financial affairs of people both where a deputy is appointed and where partners at Wolferstans have been appointed as attorneys.
Corrin has experience of managing the property and financial affairs for a range of different people including elderly clients with Dementia, people with an acquired brain injury and people with learning difficulties. One third of Corrin’s time is spent on each of these groups of people respectively, giving her a broad range of experience of people’s varying needs.
Corrin also regularly makes deputyship applications to the Court of Protection, both for family members who wish to be appointed deputy and for a professional deputy to be appointed. Corrin has experience of making contentious deputy applications to the Court of Protection, in cases for example, where there may be family disagreements, or where there is evidence that funds have been misappropriated.
Corrin is supervised by both the Head of Court of Protection who is an Associate Solicitor with six years of Court of Protection experience and by the Professional Deputy who is a Solicitor and Partner in the firm.
She has 2 young children who keep her very busy, but in any spare time she enjoys keeping fit and baking.
