Lauren graduated from Cardiff University in 2013 with a degree in Law. She completed the Legal Practice Course in 2015 whilst working as a Paralegal at a national law firm dealing with the sales of new build properties for Housing Associations.
Lauren joined Wolferstans in August 2015 and began her training contract in January 2016 gaining experience in residential property, commercial property, corporate and employment law. Lauren qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and has been working in our Commercial Property team since with a varied caseload.
Lauren deals with various Landlord and Tenant matters, including drafting and negotiating new leases, dealing with renewal leases and assignments of existing leases.
Lauren also deals with sales and acquisitions of freehold and leasehold property, including acting for pension fund providers. She also carries out transactions involving property refinance and secured lending, acting for both borrowers and lenders.
She also carries out work in the education sector, in particular the property elements of the academy conversion process for schools and academy trusts.
Outside of work Lauren enjoys cooking, paddleboarding, sailing and exploring new places with her Labradoodle.
