Tamsin is a Paralegal in the Clinical Negligence department assisting Simon Parford with his complex, high value brain injury and neurological claims, including claims for children and young adults who have cerebral palsy.
Tamsin has a degree in Law from the University of Plymouth and is currently an Associate Member of the Chartered Legal Executives.
Tamsin has considerable previous experience dealing with personal injury claims on behalf of claimants, previously working for a national firm and has considerable experience dealing with medical negligence claims since joining Wolferstans in 2013.
Tamsin assisted Simon Parford in what is believed to be one of the largest settlements ever in both personal injury and clinical negligence claims, settling in excess of £33.4 million.
Due to the large volume of brain injury and cerebral palsy claims Tamsin assists with, she has a great understanding of the effects a brain injury can have on the families of our clients and has empathy for their situation. She has extensive experience in dealing with families of brain injury clients, helping them through the legal process and always being on hand to offer reassurance when needed.
As well as cerebral palsy claims, Tamsin has assisted Simon Parford in claims relating to, but not limited to:
Delay in diagnosing cancer
Retinopathy of prematurity
Vitamin B12 deficiency
Transient Ischemic Attacks
