Craig Butler

Senior Associate, Solicitor

Craig is a Senior Associate at the firm and a Solicitor in the Personal Injury team.

He specialises in complex fatal and other life changing injury claims. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Born and raised in the West Country, Craig has previously worked in Bristol, Exeter and Plymouth.

He has acted for those seriously injured or bereaved, predominantly in Road Traffic Collisions, for well over 20 years. He has worked along side Brake – The Road safety Charity as a road safety advocate and legal advisory extension of the Brake Victim Support Helpline.

Craig has lectured on many aspects of serious and fatal injury litigation and educated students and members of the armed forces on road safety awareness.

Craig is a Chairman of Headway Plymouth and is the South West Regional Co-ordinator for the Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS)”.

Craig has an honours degree in law and studied for his Law Society Finals at the College of Law in Guildford. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1994. He has acted solely for injured Claimants in thousands of cases. He specialises in complex and high value fatal, catastrophic brain and spinal injury cases and cases involving chronic pain conditions. He was previously a Law Society Accredited Training Principle and has managed, supervised and mentored colleagues at all levels of qualification from junior paralegals to other highly experienced solicitors.

Outside of work Craig is a member and Vice Chairman of Exmouth Musical Theatre Company and a keen runner with Exmouth Harriers.
