Dean is a dedicated Associate Solicitor who works in and heads up our Asbestos Department. Dean is an APIL accredited asbestos specialist with many years of experience in this specialist field.

Dean obtained his law degree at Plymouth University in 2004. Dean previously worked for Bond Pearce and Benyons Solicitors until he joined Wolferstans in 2011.

Due to the amount of asbestos that has been present in the local area for many decades Dean has vast amount of experience in assisting people with their cases after being exposed to asbestos in the local dockyard, or other industries. Dean is an accredited asbestos and occupational disease specialist as well as an accredited senior litigator due to his many years hands on experience working with people who have various asbestos related and occupational illnesses..

Dean has a wealth of knowledge and experience in this specialist area and is aware of the support, care and assistance that his clients require whilst they are dealing with these terrible conditions which arise many years after their initial exposure to asbestos has occurred. With many years of specialist experience in running asbestos cases where clients have developed Mesothelioma, Asbestosis and Pleural Thickening, Dean is able to provide full detailed advice on care requirements, financial assistance and rehabilitation.

Outside of work Dean can be found playing live music with his soul and blues band, enjoying walks in the local countryside, and completing a healthy amount of DIY!
