Rory joined Wolferstans in July 2021 and is our Compliance Manager, working within the Management Department. Rory’s role is to ensure that the firm complies with its outside regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Rory started his career playing sport having represented London Wasps and passing selection to row for Team GB. After sustaining a few injuries Rory went on to work within the finance industry for J.P.Morgan Chase across the three functions of Cash Management, Due Diligence and Anti-Money Laundering. After gaining some valuable experience in banking Rory decided to return to Plymouth University as a mature student where he studied Maritime Business and Maritime Law. Having recently graduated in 2020 Rory is really looking forward to starting his career at Wolferstans alongside a very friendly and professional team.

In his spare time Rory loves walking his dogs with his fiancée and their baby girl, and making the most out of the beaches and coastline the South-West has to offer. He also enjoys going to the gym, swimming and cooking.
