Barry is a Partner in the Medical Negligence Department. He specialises in complex, high-value brain and spinal injury claims and has particular expertise in acting for children and young adults who have cerebral palsy.
Barry is recognised as a leading clinical negligence lawyer and is a member of the specialist clinical negligence panels of the Law Society, AvMA (the charity – Action against Medical Accidents) and APIL (the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers where he holds Senior Litigator status). He is approved by both the Spinal Injuries Association and Headway. - Cardiac problems during surgery

- Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugars)
- Hyperglycaemia (high blood sugars)

- Meconium Aspiration

- Failure to perform a timely Caesarean Section
- Excessive force used in an assisted delivery (e.g. by forceps or ventouse)
