Litigation Assistant

Richard is a Litigation Assistant in the Medical Negligence Department.

Richard has a background in clinical negligence and personal injury litigation, including coronial law, having headed a legal services department in a major NHS acute hospital for almost twenty years. He has a vast amount of experience in investigating high profile incidents in a clinical setting and applying that knowledge to the day to day management of his clinical negligence claims.

Richard runs a wide variety of clinical negligence claims, ranging from orthopaedic and surgical mishaps to dental and medication prescription errors. He has been assisting Claimant’s with their clinical negligence claims since January 2011 when he joined Wolferstans Solicitors.

Richard has previously investigated and succeeded in establishing negligence in the following scenarios:

In his spare time, Richard enjoys spending time with his family and being a member of the local aquatic society. His other interests include ornithology, playing snooker and solving chess problems.
