£4250 raised for local brain injury charity, Headway Plymouth

Wolferstans LLP are proud to have raised £4,250 for Headway Plymouth, a local branch of the UK-based charity that works to improve the lives of those impacted by brain injury. The funds were raised through a variety of fundraising and volunteering activities throughout 2022, as part of Wolferstans' commitment to supporting Headway Plymouth as its Charity of the Year.

The Wolferstans team worked tirelessly to organise various events, including taking part in the Plymouth Half Marathon, their Hike for Headway on Dartmoor, a Santa hat sale, a 50/50 draw, a bake sale, and much more, to raise funds for the charity. The team were thrilled to receive support from colleagues, clients and friends, who helped them achieve this impressive milestone.

In addition to raising funds, Wolferstans also donated time to renovate the Headway Centre, where service users are provided with rehabilitation and therapy support with their families and carers. We visited the centre numerous times with help from our friends at Ian Williams, the UK's largest property services company, who kindly supported with the redecorating. The team found this experience to be incredibly rewarding and were proud to play a small part in helping to improve the lives of those impacted by brain injuries.

Headway Plymouth is an essential charity that provides vital support to people who have acquired brain injuries and their families. Brain injuries can have a devastating impact on individuals and their loved ones, and Wolferstans is glad to have been able to contribute to the important work that Headway Plymouth does.
