Noah’s Ark Childcare Centres sold to Hadland Care Group
Wolferstans Corporate Team has advised Noah’s Ark Childcare Centres Limited owners on the sale of the company to Hadland Care Group Limited.
Hadland Care Group Ltd one of the West Country’s leading providers of nursery care, who will integrate the Noah’s Ark business into their Tops Day Nurseries division. The acquisition of the Plymouth and Torquay based Noah’s Ark completed in time for the start of the Autumn term.
Wolferstans acted alongside Peter Hamon of chartered accountants Bromhead during the legal & financial due diligence process and negotiations with Hadland’s legal team, ensuring the transaction ran smoothly and to schedule.
Roger Sands, Liam Arrowsmith and Dominic Tucker of Wolferstans handled the sale process. Liam commented: “We were delighted to help Tim and Nyree Squires on the sale of the business which they had so admirably built up over many years and to see it pass on to new owners with strong plans for its future growth.”
First established over 20 years ago, Noah’s Ark Childcare Centres went on to build a strong reputation as one of the City’s leading pre-school childcare providers.

Tops Day Nurseries is already a leading provider of childcare in Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Somerset; the acquisition represents the Group’s first step into Devon.
