Pioneering Plymouth Heart Doctor to Face Misconduct Hearing

Wolferstans has been instructed by a number of clients who have expressed concerns about treatment they, or their loved ones, have received from Dr Joseph Motwani, who was employed as a Consultant Cardiologist at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth from 1999. Dr Motwani was suspended from the Trust in 2008 and is due to face a General Medical Council hearing in the summer.

Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust have conducted a thorough internal investigation involving nearly 600 patients of Dr Joseph Motwani, who was employed as a Consultant Cardiologist from 1999.
