Training Journey: Transitioning Seats – A Mentorship Tribute

Narrowing it down to one person who has supported me through my time in Private Family is an impossible task and so I thought I would instead take the opportunity to pass on a huge thank you to the entire team. Working alongside a supportive team with an open-door policy and a friendly atmosphere is a great experience for a Trainee. It helps reduce the worry around asking questions, making mistakes and the inevitable feelings of imposter syndrome.

My introduction to life as a Trainee at Wolferstans has been great, and attributable to the team. I have been able to shadow and learn from members of the team when it comes to client meetings, advocacy, dealing with highly stressful situations and managing Court deadlines. The support network within the team ensures that someone is always happy to help and within this environment, I have been able to flourish and develop my skill set as well as my independence.
