Re-pledging our support to the Armed Forces
In March 2022, Wolferstans Solicitorsre-signed the Armed Forces Covenant to re-pledge our support to Armed Forcespersonnel and their families.
We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional legal services and indelivering that; we recognise we must understand our community including thosewithin the Armed Forces Community. Aroundhalf of our colleagues have a connection to the Armed Forces includingVeterans, spouses of serving personnel, and even a future Royal Navyrecruit. All of which lends itself to the rich diversity and strengthamongst our team.
Being part of the Armed Forces Covenant, actively taking part inthe Plymouth Covenant group, the Regional Employers Engagement groups and thelocal service updates, enables us to understand and empathise with thecommunity deliver exceptional legal services to our clients and support ourcolleagues.
Natasha Mason, our Armed Forces Engagement Champion says,“I am extremely proud of the Leadership Board and all my colleagues for theireffort and determination to support our Armed Forces community. Theirwillingness to go above and beyond is remarkable.”
Our pledge includes: additional paid leave for reservists,discounts to those with a MOD90 or DDS card, advertising vacancies with Forces Families Jobs, active participation in Armed Forces Dayand welfare signposting for our colleagues and clients.
