Wolferstans are proud to be supporting Action for Brain Injury this week. One of the charities supporting this campaign is the Brain & Spine Foundation.
The Brain & spine Foundation is a UK wide charity providing support and information on the full range of neurological conditions to patients, carers and health professionals. Neurological conditions and associated treatments are often complex, raising many questions for the people affected and their families.
The Brain & Spine Foundation provides support and quality information to people affected by brain and spine problems, in order to reduce anxiety and help inform their choices. The charity runs a neuroscience nurse staffed Helpline (0808 808 1000) open from Monday to Thursday between 9am – 4pm and on Fridays from 9am to 1pm. The service is free and confidential.
They also provide over 25 informative booklets and fact sheets on different conditions, procedures and symptoms. Accredited by the Department of Health’s Information Standard, the publications are freely available online, by post and through our partner organisations.
