SANDS – Stillbirth and Neonatal Charity
SANDS supports anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby before during or shortly after birth. They offer support and information to families’ health professionals and others.
SANDS can offer a free bereavement support pack which contains helpful information on saying goodbye to your baby, deciding whether to have a post mortem, deciding about the funeral, supporting other children, returning to work and many other important topics.

SANDS helps to fund research into preventing baby loss, helping to collect the evidence needed to change future babies’ lives.
SANDS also provides a wealth of research for professionals to help them to understand how to deal with bereaved parents to offer them the best service at the most horrific time.
