Our accreditations

Our Medical Negligence team is accredited by, and works in association with, a number of organisations providing specialist support to people affected by various types of personal injuries, including those due to medical negligence.

Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA)

Our team includes members of AvMA’s Clinical Negligence Panel, reflecting our high level of expertise in this area. AvMA provides free advice and support to anyone affected by medical errors, as well as working with various organisations to improve patient safety and access to justice.

Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)

Many of our team are accredited by APIL as specialists in clinical negligence, brain injury and personal injury. They also hold APIL’s Senior Litigator or Fellowship accreditations.

UK Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF)

Wolferstans is on UKABIF’s Approved Lawyers List in recognition of the exceptional quality of our legal advice for anyone living with an acquired brain injury. As well as connecting people with legal representatives, UKABIF also helps people with acquired brain injuries to access rehabilitation and support services, as well as providing information and educational resources.

Headway

We are included in Headway’s solicitors directory, recognising our skill in this area and our commitment to working within the organisation’s code of conduct. Headway is a UK-wide charity helping people with brain injuries and those who support them with local groups, services and information.

Brain Injury Group

Our medical negligence team is part of the Brain Injury Group’s approved solicitors directory, having met the organisation’s rigorous criteria. The Brain Injury Group provides a range of practical support to people with brain injuries, their families and carers.

The Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers (SCIL)

SCIL Logo

Our medical negligence team is part of The Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers. SCIL is a member organisation for specialist claimant solicitor firms dedicated to the field of clinical negligence. The organisation has circa 80 members. The organisation aims to promote best practice in the conduct of clinical negligence claims, to influence public policy for the benefit of injured persons and in doing so to promote access to justice and patient safety.

Spinal Injuries Association (SIA)

We are included in the SIA solicitors directory thanks to our proven track record of supporting clients with spinal injury claims and having met the SIA’s strict criteria. The charity provides various types of support for people living with a spinal injury, including advice, peer support and telephone counselling.

The Law Society Accreditation

Our team includes members of the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Panel, reflecting their wealth of experience and our high level of expertise in this area.
